I started my dog grooming training here at Canis in 2020 – qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 and completed Sophie Bell’s Animal Love Dog First Aid Course plus a dog behaviour course at Abingdon and Witney College Common Leys Farm Campus.  I am also trained in using the Emmi-Pet ultrasonic tooth brush, and I find using this tool really satisfying.

Before this I worked for 30 years in Retail Management, and I decided to take the leap and go full-time dog grooming.  I worked for a year and at half at Dirty Dogs Pamper Parlour gaining lots of experience.  Now I am lucky enough to be back at Canis where it all started.

I have always had dogs in the family and I share care of a lovely Cavishon called Pepe who is now 5 years old, and he really was my inspiration for grooming.
